In 1966, Sergio Tacchini, an international tennis champion, created its textile company in the north of Italy next to Milan. The brand was immediately successful and contributed to a major change in the style trends. Indeed, Sergio Tacchini put colors at the heart of its collection while, on this period, tennis players only wore white outfits.


80’s Sergio Tacchini, a major actor of the tennis golden age

During the 70’s and 80’s, Sergio Tacchini became an indisputable leader on the professional tennis world. Worn by the most prestigious tennis players, John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors, Martina Navratilova, Gabriela Sabatini, Pete Sampras, Pat Cash, Vitas Gerulaitis, Martina Hingis and some others, Sergio Tacchini was present on every big tournament. On a 40 years period, the brand has won more than 37 Grand Slam.

80's

90’s Sergio Tacchini extends its success beyond the borders of its historical territory.

During the 80’s and 90’s shoes and accessories were added to the collections. The brand proposed a range of products dedicated to new sectors such as ski, golf and other leisure. Each of these product lines was spread through the brand style and its identity focusing on innovation, elegance and Italian quality.

2016

2016: An anniversary which marks the start of a new age for the Italian brand.

2016 is an important date as it represents the 50th anniversary of Sergio Tacchini. On this occasion, Sergio Tacchini has decided to offer on sale a limited edition of its famous “Young Line” polo worn by John McEnroe at the top of his career. A unique “gold” finishing touch of the logo as well as a 50th anniversary mark has been used to create a special identity to the line.
The end of the 2016 year is also a new start for MOVIN which extend its collaboration with Sergio Tacchini, distributing now the collections in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Monaco.


A prestigious event for Sergio Tacchini: The MONTE-CARLO ROLEX MASTERS

In 2017, Sergio Tacchini continues its partnership with the Monte-Carlo tournament after 5 years of satisfying collaboration. In addition to professional tennis players, the brand develops for the ball boys and all the technical staff an exclusive high-level collection dedicated to the tournament.

The 2017 Sergio Tacchini MONTE-CARLO product line is composed of more than 20 outfits from polo to technical apparel dedicated to players and accessories.
